BTW the monthly voice over session was GREAT!
What an AMAZING first session last night with Karl - I can't wait to continue this next week, and will be reading and reading (out loud) between now and then! So glad I found you.
I really enjoyed the workshops and I will be back in the very near future... you really have a great course there with some great instructors.
My husband, Brett Johnson just completed your Intro class last night and absolutely LOVED IT! Thanks for encouraging him to explore his voice and find that freedom that he has been searching for.
I wanted to thank you and Mike for all your help. You are both such lovely, warm, personable people and I really enjoyed attending the workshop. I learnt a lot in the sessions and would like to learn more with you. Mike's open, constructive feedback is just what I am looking for to improve my voice skills.
The class experience was absolutely spot on. Thanks for everything.
What a awesome class!!!
I just completed the monthly voice over workshop and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the sessions. I learned an incredible amount during each session, receiving excellent direction and feedback from all of the instructors. You have located the path that I should take to pursue a dream of utilizing my voice. I now have to set out down that path. I also don't change the radio station anymore when the commercials come on. Thank you for a great experience.
I just wanted to say that the workshop was fantastic. It really helped me realize what can be done in the voiceover industry, as well as what I need to work on in order to be successful in this industry. Thank-you!
"What a blast! The classes I've taken with Voiceworx have been fantastic. Elley-Ray's mastery of the craft and boundless enthusiasm have been illuminating and inspiring. Each and every teacher has added to my repertoire of voices. I look forward to putting my newfound skills to work.
"Jeff Knight was a fantastic instructor and he has certainly set the pace for what is sure to be a great program...I very much look forward to my next session."
"The teaching has been awesome.....it was specifically a pleasure to work with Karl - being the president of our union. I left feeling really inspired and excited."

"Karl was warm and full of knowledge and wisdom, while Elly was just a firebrand that got us all awake and aware of our own hidden vocal talents. Truly, this experience will be invaluable to me as I begin my new career."
Paul Adamson, Toronto, 2005
"I wanted to let you and Mike know that I absolutely loved the 'Monthly Voice-over Workshop' and I am extremely glad I took it. I found it to be an incredible learning experience and also a lot of fun. All of the instructors were excellent and each offered his/her own unique take on the "business" and gave us insightful, practical and highly constructive advice and direction. After three classes, just when we thought the instructors couldn't get any better, in walked Mike Kirby. Mike, you were a fantastic teacher and director and I was so inspired by you and your class. Thank you so much."
Josie Vint, Toronto, 2005
"Thank you! I really enjoyed the Voice Over Workshop. Each session was unique and informative and the instructors were well informed, talented and a pleasure to work with. This course is perfect for someone like me who is serious about a career in voice work, but who has not had any prior acting
or voice experience. It's a great introduction to the industry and the hands on studio work gave me an opportunity to explore the various avenues it has to offer, as well as an understanding of what to expect when auditioning, creating a demo, etc.
Given that each session was 3 hours and there was alot of ground to cover, I was pleased that we spent as much time as we did in the studio. The instructors were able to give their attention to each student without rushing. As a trainer, I know that it is not always an easy task given the diversity of each class.
I'll be calling in the next day or so to get some more details on the next demo prep workshop.
Thanks again,"

"Thank you for a great class tonight (Doug Paulson). It was a rare privilege to be instructed by someone of your talent and stature in the industry."
Glen Greenway, St. Catherines, Ontario, 2004
"I just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed the course which finished on Wednesday. I am in the business of education and know quality when I see it. I was interested in the way you organized the course as well as the components, various speakers, the facilities and so on. The quality of your handbook and CD are excellent. Your skill in teaching is also top notch - you are able to encourage and correct at every level of ability - a very tough act in an adult learning setting. I did want to congratulate you on your intelligent and thoughtful approach to teaching this interesting subject and wish you continued success.
Charles Murray, Toronto, Canada 2002
"I just finished the Voice Over Workshop and it was fantastic. I've always been told I had a good voice and that I should do something with it. I felt that the Voice Over workshop really gave me a chance to explore what I can do with my "good voice". The instructors were all top notch and you quickly learned that there are so many ways to do something and everyone has their own way of doing it. Working with Karl Pruner on Commercial Work was a great way to start things off. We got to know the studio (mics, working with Glen the Engineer, protocol and how to use "Cans" -headphones!). It was a good start because we had a chance to work on Commercial material that we already hear on the airwaves. Doug Paulson was inspiring in teaching us Documentary and Narration. It is not easy to read long scripts with emotion to describe the story. Ellie Ray Hennesey was an absolutely insane and wild person. Working with her really brought out the different characters in your head and the page to the mic. I enjoyed this class so much that I am looking into pursuing the Cartoon All Stars Workshop. The last class with Mike Kirby really brought things together for us because he told us, "This is what we've taught you and here is where you can go now". Voiceworx has really given me something that I can work towards. I am a Mechanical Engineer but was always looking for something to do that I was passionate about. I think I found it. Thanks Voiceworx!"
